Millefiori means "a thousand flowers" in Italian and that's exactly what this honey is. Our local beekeepers in Arezzo let their bees forage freely across the Tuscan hills and valleys, drawing from wildflowers, meadow blooms, and the rich countryside that surrounds our farm. The result changes subtly with every season, reflecting whatever was flowering when the bees were working.
The flavor is complex and layered warm, floral, and slightly earthy, with a depth that supermarket honey simply can't replicate. The color ranges from amber to deep gold depending on the season's bloom.
We source our honey from beekeepers here in Capolona for a specific reason: Italian farming regulations are significantly stricter than those in the US when it comes to chemical use. In the US, an organic field can sit right next to a commercial one and wind and rain don't respect property lines. Here in our corner of Tuscany, that's not the reality. The honey is cleaner, and you can taste it.
How to use it: Drizzle over aged pecorino or fresh ricotta, swirl into plain yogurt, stir into chamomile tea, or spread generously on warm bread. It also works beautifully in marinades and salad dressings where you want depth without sharpness.
Origin: Arezzo, Tuscany | Type: Wildflower/Multifloral | Style: Raw, unfiltered
